Biography

Dr. Liz Anderson-Peacock engages audiences around the world, speaking and bringing a revitalized approach to the workplace and teams, facilitating corporate groups working on mindset, motivation, and matching values with vision all to empower results through embracing self-leadership over management and greater connection between people. Dr. Liz is an energetic and internationally recognized both in the chiropractic profession and in the health and wellness field.
She provides limited coaching of professionals and executives, and delivers her self-improvement program “Best Version of You” ™ through powerful workshops and retreats geared to enriching your personal and professional life. Her book, Pearls of Wisdom Pure and Powerful, was written during her personal and remarkable journey through natural cancer treatments and the experience of living with a synovial sarcoma for over a decade.

As of November 22, 2017 she became a right BKA (below knee amputee). Her journey has been captured on Instagram and YouTube as she was less than 75 days from amputation to walking without aids at the age of 58. Her following has noticed the benefits of her own application of what she teaches, so much now, she is moving the direction of speaking on the mindset she used, that set her up for success.

Her background as a chiropractor includes an extensive list of acknowledgements including Canadian Chiropractor of the Year in 1998, the Ontario Chiropractic Association Heart and Hand award in 2005 and World Congress of Women Chiropractors – Woman of the Year in 2009.

Dr. Liz’s acquired knowledge has been shared at universities in countries around the world including Canada, USA, Italy, Denmark, Brazil, UK, NZ, Japan and Australia. She is sought by groups for her clinical knowledge and love of teaching in  her specific are of interest namely a wellness lifestyle and chiropractic care for children and during pregnancy.  She has been published in peer review journals such as the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research,  Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Journal of Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics to name a few.

Dr. Liz has served on an academic panel for the Journal of Maternal, Pediatric and Family Health, Associate Governor and grant reviewer for the Australian Spinal Research Foundation,  pediatric editor of CWFM (Chiropractic Wellness and Fitness Magazine) with 8 million subscriptions (USA) and is a frequent contributor to other health journals. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Liz has sat on numerous boards such as the World Congress of Women Chiropractors, YMCA Simcoe-Muskoka board, and president of the Academy of Family Practice (USA).

She has been involved in her community through the MacLaren Art Centre, Children’s Aid Foundation, Women InTuition at Georgian College, Meridian Place for the “Wildfire Peacock Stage” in Barrie, Talk Is Free Theatre (Barrie), Theatre By The Bay (Barrie),  The YMCA Simcoe-Muskoka, Australian Spinal Research Foundation, Sunnybrook Foundation, Life West Chiropractic College, and the Scotland College of Chiropractic to name her more current areas of contribution. Past contributions have been to Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Canadian Chiropractic Research Foundation, and Kids Sport amongst others.
